The Cabbage Patch Settlement House has a rich tradition of serving thousands of inner-city children and their families every year. Since 1910, hundreds of thousands of young people have walked through our doors and are now "Patch alumni." Included among our alumni are: an NFL Super Bowl coach, a former city alderman, community leaders, teachers, coaches, firefighters and police officers, staff at The Cabbage Patch, and more. Thousands of alumni cite their involvement with The Cabbage Patch as a critical factor in their development of strong values and strong faith.
If you would like to keep in touch and know more about periodic events where alumni are welcome, please e-mail alumni@cabbagepatch.org or complete this form (click link).

Influences on People's Lives
Here's a letter we recently received from the family of a Cabbage Patch alumna:
"Mother passed away this summer. She often told us stories of how, during the Depression years, that The Cabbage Patch and its founder helped her family while her father was out of work. She credited The Cabbage Patch with providing food and a secure place with activities to keep her and her siblings busy. She did not leave much materialistically, however, she left us with many loving memories. I feel certain that The Cabbage Patch instilled in her a loving spirit very early in her life."
