How You Can Help

As a private, nonprofit organization that does not receive government funding and is not a Metro United Way member agency, we have always depended on private philanthropy to help meet the needs of those we serve.

Each year we must raise $800,000 – $1,000,000 from individuals, foundations, businesses, churches, and service organizations to offer high-quality purpose-driven programs and services and build meaningful, life-changing relationships with at-risk children and their families.

With a limited staff, The Cabbage Patch also relies heavily on the expertise and assistance of people just like you. Hundreds of volunteers donate thousands of hours of service annually to The Cabbage Patch, saving an estimated $325,000 – not including board member time.

The tireless efforts of our volunteers and the private support of donors enable us to serve 1,100 – 1,300 at-risk children and families each year.   Thanks to all of our supporters who help by donating money, goods, services or time:
