From welcoming guests as they arrive, to registration, to helping organize Silent Auction items, to serving as a spotter during the Live Auction, volunteers play an essential role in the overall success of the Annual Cabbage Patch Auction.

Volunteer Shifts for the 11th Annual Auction are available as follows:
(Volunteers are welcome to work more than one shift)
Thursday, September 25, 2014
9:00 AM -12:00 PM—Morning Shift
Volunteers helping during this time period will assist with Silent Auction set-up, help organize and lay out items on tables, arrange item description placards, and assist with overall decoration. Breakfast and Lunch will be served.
12:00-3:00 PM—Afternoon Shift
Volunteers helping during this time period will assist with final touches to Silent Auction areas, set-up/decoration of banquet area, dining tables, assist with registration set up, signage placement. Lunch will be served.
4:30-9:30 PM—Evening/Event Shift
Volunteers will be assigned to help with Event Registration/Check-in, Silent & Live Auctions, and Check-out process. Dinner will be served.
Please note that some roles during this shift may require a 30-45 minute training session the week prior to the event. More information about training sessions will be provided as assignments are made, and multiple sessions will be offered to accommodate busy schedules.
9:30-11:30 PM–Clean-Up Shift
Volunteers will assist with event tear-down and clean up. (Please note that lifting of heavy objects may be required during this shift).
