The Cabbage Patch Announces 2013 Board
Louisville, KY (January 22, 2013)—The Cabbage Patch Settlement House, a local charity working with at-risk children and families, is pleased to announce its 2013 Board of Directors.
The executive committee of the Board includes president Rob Crady, Hilliard Lyons; president-elect Walt Kunau, community volunteer; secretary, Mary Beth Boehnlein, YUM! Brands, Inc.; and treasurer George Bauernfeind, Humana, Inc.
New members include Pat Murphy, UPS; Larry Cashen, Wyatt, Tarrant & Combs; Heather Graff, community volunteer; Jennifer Arrington, community volunteer; Janie Ferguson, community volunteer; and Cathy Sullivan, community volunteer.
In addition, four members of the Board were re-elected to three-year terms: Charlie Farnsley, The Benefits Firm; James Giesel, Frost Brown Todd; Walt Kunau, and George Bauernfeind.

The Cabbage Patch Settlement House is a local, non-profit Christian organization whose mission is to equip and empower at-risk children, youth, and their families, to be self-sufficient by helping them maximize their economic, educational, emotional, moral, physical, social and spiritual potential. First established in 1910, The Cabbage Patch Settlement House serves approximately 1,000-1,200 at-risk children and their families annually through programs in the areas of recreation/youth development, educational programs, and counseling and family services. As a privately funded charity, The Cabbage Patch relies entirely on contributions from individuals, organizations, churches, corporations, and foundations to meet the needs of those we serve.
