The Cabbage Patch is a local nonprofit empowering children, youth, and families to reach their full potential since 1910. We recognize that societal inequalities are barriers to the achievement of that potential, especially for members of marginalized communities. Our board of directors and staff team, work with our youth and their families to remove structural barriers through community partnerships.
The Cabbage Patch is dedicated to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the way we operate internally as a staff and Board and in partnership with volunteers, partners, and our members.
We embrace a diversity of our staff, board, volunteers, partners, and members. We strive for equity by tailoring services and resources to the needs of each child, youth, family, and staff member while also promoting justice, impartiality and fairness within policies and procedures.
At its core, The Cabbage Patch is a relationship-focused organization. We build community to reinforce our mission and gain a sense of belonging and purpose. We are committed to this work, and we have developed a set of long- and short-term initiatives to ensure diversity, equity, and inclusion are embodied at The Cabbage Patch.
